Fields Math Education Forum Meeting

AGENDA

1. Reports: OAME, OMCA, OCMA, CMS forum follow-up,

2. Immaculate Namukasa will give a report on the ICMI 15 study meeting which was held in Brazil last May. The topic for the 15th ICMI study is: The Professional Education and Development of Teachers of Mathematics.

3. Technology and learning update:
a) Gord Doctorow will give a report on ideas, activities, and findings from the recent CAS summit.
b) Margaret Sinclair will give a brief report on the PRISM-NEO GSP project (with info from Ross Isenegger who isn't able to join us.)

4. Technology and learning continued:
Juris Steprans will speak about his experiences teaching the technology course in the MA for Teachers program at York.

A light lunch will be served around 12 noon.
