Some new cases of Langlands Functoriality

I will report on a recent joint work with F. Shahidi in which we establish the weak functorial transfer from the groups GSpin to GL. Fortunately, much of the background for this work has beeen covered by J. Cogdell and H. Kim in their courses so I will focus more on what is specific to the particular group at hand, i.e., GSpin.
