OVERVIEW

This workshop on Lie theory at the CRM, researchers from Ontario and Quebec can discuss recent results, continue existing projects, and conceive new collaborations. The conference programme will emphasize an area of Lie theory that is particularly active in Canada{namely, infinite dimensional Lie theory.

Structure of the Workshop: 12 talks, 1 hour each, over 3 days, leaving time for informal discussions and collaborations among the participants. Three of these will be given by keynote speakers from outside of the Ontario-
Quebec region, 3 to 5 by established researchers, and at least 4 will be reserved for postdoctoral fellows or advanced graduate students.
