Product formulas appear naturally in the study of orthogonal polynomials, stochastic integrals, and Wick products. In many examples they have combinatorial significance. I will describe a general approach to product formulas based on combinatorics of posets, and illustrate it with (familiar) Poisson-type and (new) Meixner-type examples.
