Abstract:
Given polynomial equations we might be interested in finding solutions in primes or in almost primes. For example, the twin prime conjecture is regarding finding infinitely many prime solutions to the equation $x_1 - x_2 = 2$. In this talk I will discuss some recent progress made on solving higher degree polynomial equations in primes and also in almost primes.
