I will describe the proof of our recent result on energy transfer for two-dimensional pure-gravity water waves with constant vorticity. We construct smooth small-amplitude solutions whose high Sobolev norms grow arbitrarily large while lower-order norms remain small, exhibiting a genuine cascade of energy to high frequencies. The mechanism is driven by quasi-resonant interactions in a quasilinear setting.
